As we approach the end of 2025, it’s a natural moment to pause, reflect, and appreciate how far we have come — as individuals, as teams, and as a purpose-driven organisation.
This year brought its share of uncertainty, complexity, and change. And yet, through it all, one thing remained constant at Summit: our commitment to doing great things for the consumer.
Being a company that places purpose above profit is not always the easiest path — but it is always the most meaningful. Every day, we see the tangible impact of our work: relieved employees, empowered families, and communities gaining tools that change lives. This is what fuels us.
Our Journey of Evolution
Summit has transformed significantly since our beginnings in 2004 as a small financial wellbeing provider in the EAP environment.
Some milestones that shaped who we are today:
2012 – Bringing Help Directly to Employees
We launched direct, onsite employee-indebtedness support. This proactive, human-centred model became the foundation of our success, especially in mining communities.
2020 – Expanding Beyond the Workplace
When COVID-19 changed the world, we recognised a bigger responsibility: employees do not exist in isolation — they live within communities that also needed protection, education, and hope.
Our Community Farming Pilot
We built our first community farm in the North West. What started as an experiment grew into something extraordinary:
• 79,000 meals provided to local schools
• Community members equipped with practical, income-producing agricultural skills
The success of this initiative led to the birth of the Foster Foundation NPC in 2024, enabling us to scale our purpose even further.
